ISO 27001: 2013 Certified Information Management Systems

International Standards Organization (ISO) 27001:2013 is an internationally accepted Information Security Management System (ISMS) that uses a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure. ISO 27001:2013 specifies ISMS as suite of activities concerning the management of information security risks. The ISMS is an overarching management framework through which the organization identifies, analyzes and addresses its information security risks. It includes people, processes, and IT systems by applying a risk management process. December 2013, Rapier Solutions, Inc. adopted the ISO 27001:2013 ISMS to responsibly safeguard information for which our organization and employees have access. July 2015, Rapier was audited by a full-service independent registrar that carries multiple international accreditations, Perry and Johnson to certify the implementation of ISO 27001:2013 ISMS. The Emerging Leaders Initiative is an intensive executive-level series intended to accelerate the growth of high-potential small businesses in America’s underserved cities. This comprehensive curriculum, developed by the SBA, provides the tools to catapult small businesses to the next level. Recruited by the SBA, Rapier Solutions joined the Emerging Leaders Initiative April 2015. Over the course of seven months, Rapier executives worked with experienced mentors, attended specialized workshops and developed connections with their peers, city leaders, and the financial community to engage in focused development and operational excellence. Rapier graduated the SBA Emerging Leader Program November 2015 to incorporate advanced delivery approach of services, customer prioritization, and executive level client management tools to better serve our clients. Rapier Solutions, Incorporated many of the SBA Emerging Leaders Initiatives tools into our Service Delivery Approach, known as the Rapier Delivery Method (RDM). October 23, 2014 

Rapier Solution, Inc. was one of 49 businesses from 13 states and the District of Columbia to graduate from the National Center for the Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP). During the program’s graduation, Rapier Solutions was presented with a Congressional citation for its contributions to the country in the private sector. VIP is a comprehensive training and certification program that helps veteran-owned businesses strengthen their ability to win government contracts and do business with both military and civilian agencies they once served in uniform.

Rapier encourages community involvement as a part of our “Get Involved” initiative.  As a result of the program, Jacques (Jackie) Graves was able to mentor children at Crossroads Charter High School, on Wednesdays, to prepare them for business development with their instructor Kevin Boyer.  On November 6, 2013, Jackie arranged for the children to attend the Charlotte Chamber of Commerceto practice their networking skills.  A total of 18 children attended the event and partook in their first networking event.  Two of the children won courtside seats to the Charlotte Bobcats game, for completing the task of introducing themselves and obtaining the most business cards at the event.

Seaport E Contract

On November 19, 2013, Rapier Solutions was awared a Seaport-E contract is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. Today, the ordering community of Seaport-e includes The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Seaport-e Multiple Award Contract (MAC) vehicle provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and approved team members where all task orders are competitively solicited, awarded, and managed using the SeaPort-e platform .

2010-2014: Rapier Solutions was awarded a contract to provide Information Technology Support in Telecommunication architecture design for new IT MILCON construction with support facility IT infrastructure upgrades and sustainment ensuring that all facility IT infrastructure designs support the Army Reserve (AR) enterprise network consolidation goals.  We will attend planning events and maintain regional-level coordination with project teams such as Architectural and Engineering (A&E) firms, Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC), United States Corps of Engineers (USACE) the Assistant Chief of Staff For Installation Management (ACSIM); support the USARC standardized MILCON process and technical standards; develop/maintain facility IT Infrastructure inventory for all regional AR facilities (MILCON-affected and otherwise); validate facility-centric infrastructure requirements.

2010-2014: Rapier Solutions was awarded a 4-year contract to provide Information Technology Support network operations and management, system administration, information assurance, security support, and help desk operations.  Rapier Solutions will be an integrated part of the Garrison delivering networked capability to the warfighter in and out of the theater of operations.

Directorate of Training Fort Gordon, GA

2010-2014: Rapier Solutions was awarded a contract to provide logistics management services and support within the Directorate of Training (DOT) at the Signal Center (SIGCoE). These services requires contractors to assist with coordination within the Directorates of Public Works (DPW) on facilities engineering work requests, Directorate of Materiel (DOM) on maintenance request and shortcomings, Directorate of Support Services (DOSS) on class II, IV, VII, IX and equipment requisition and issues, Network Enterprise Center (NEC) on data drops to include SIPR connections and project point of contact on site preparation for Relocatable Buildings/Classrooms and MCA construction. The Resident Training Management Branch (RTMB) will require an update/briefing or progress report on all phases of the construction, equipment requisitions and newly assigned equipment that is annotated in Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE). Coordinate with the Installation Property Book Officer (IPBO) and the training departments for inventory and ensure issued equipment shipped to the school house is accounted for correctly. Monitor all Class VII equipment, Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS) items, and all other acquired equipment (non-Class VII) for the SigCoE. These services shall include “front-end” (preparation time) and “back-end” (closeout time) duties.

Network Enterprise Center Fort Gordon, GA

2007-2012: Rapier Solutions was awarded a subcontract by CIBER to run operation in Project Management in providing Information Technology Support under CIBER’s awarded 5-year.  Rapier was awarded a 2-year, contract to provide Project Management for IT Infrastructure Support Services to the US Army at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia.  Rapier Solutions will provide the Project Manager, information assurance, help desk, networking, and telecommunication support to Fort Gordon’s network enterprise with network operations and management, system administration, information assurance, security support, and help desk operations.  Rapier Solutions will be an integral part of the Fort Gordon network enterprise delivering networked capability to the warfighter in and out of the theater of operations. In 2009, Rapier developed the DOD Protection of Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) encryption program that is used on all DOD computers.
